Overview

The events executive will join a friendly team, that manages our client’s external and internal events along with key internal conferences/events for our client. The team also oversees all client hospitality and event sponsorships programs. The successful candidate will support the Events & Sponsorship manager and will work closely with colleagues both in the BD&M team and across the Firm, as well as external agencies and vendors.

    • Planning, organisation, set up and execution of seminars, corporate hospitality, and client entertainment events. All administrative aspects of & live events including full ownership of registration process, including post-event review, CPD certificates and more.

    • Managing external agency / supplier relationships in the delivery of selected events. This includes AV, printing, and venues.

    • Reviewing & sourcing corporate sponsorship opportunities and management of high-profile membership activities.

    • Developing and managing targeted hospitality initiatives both in house and externally. All administration tasks essential; including guest list support, Food & Beverage selection, table layout and printing.

    • Manage all the invoices, payments and ad-hoc requests relating to events, while also supporting the wider BD&M team with additional requests.

    • Managing all merchandise collateral.

    • Minimum of four years’ experience in event and hospitality management.

    • Experience of managing agencies / external suppliers.

    • Experience working on event marketing campaigns.

    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel etc.).

    • Experience in managing basic IT and audio equipment at events (e.g. microphones, slide show set up, Zoom calls, etc.).

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritise appropriately.

    • Work well under pressure, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • A team player with a can-do attitude.

    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
