Overview

This is a lovely Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role, working in a top tier law firm. You will have a focus on streamlining processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement you will play a key role in managing and optimising the Business Services function in the firm.

  • Role Responsibilities

    • Performance management, employee engagement, workforce management, recruitment and employee relations matters.

    • HR processes in relation to performance management, pay review, calibration, engagement and retention.

    • Guidance and support of key stakeholders on people management initiatives.

    • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to provide support in attraction, retention and people management.

    • First-line liaison and single point of contact for all HR matters.

    • Line management relating to particular teams and demographics within the organisation.

    • Stakeholder communications with regards to allocations and workloads.

    • Manage all employee relations issues that arise ensuring adherence to any applicable

    employment legislation.

    • Chair meetings, working to drive positive change and process improvements.

    • Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to define clear roles,

    performance expectations and development/career opportunities for employees.

    • Oversee the performance management process.

    • Oversee the compensatory review process.

  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management

    • At least three years' HR Business Partner experience, managing a team with proven strong leadership skills.

    • An experienced HR professional with a focus on process improvement and service excellence.

    • Experience working in a professional services organisation is an advantage.

    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

    • Strong communicator, problem solver and project manager.

    • Experience working with HR systems – a working knowledge of People XD is advantageous.

    • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

    • Experience operating with agility in a fast-paced environment and can work with cross- functional stakeholders to embed a culture of risk awareness.

    • Work under pressure and to strict deadlines, while maintaining a clear focus on quality and efficiency.
