An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning & Development Senior Manager to join a leading professional services firm on a 12-month contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of three and manage a portfolio of structured development programmes designed to empower professionals at all levels. You’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s learning strategy, fostering engagement, and driving innovation in leadership and talent development. This is a hands-on position suited to an L&D leader who combines strategic vision with strong operational delivery, instructional design expertise, and a genuine passion for professional growth.

Lead and inspire a team of three L&D professionals, ensuring seamless execution of multiple firm-wide development pathways.
Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of development programmes for both legal and business services teams.
Partner with senior stakeholders and external providers to ensure quality, value, and measurable impact of all learning initiatives.
Design and facilitate engaging learning events and campaigns that enhance culture, connection, and collaboration.
Drive mentoring and leadership development initiatives across the firm.
Collaborate on strategic L&D projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and budgets.
Analyse programme data and feedback to recommend continuous improvement and innovative learning solutions.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within Learning & Development, ideally in professional services.
Proven track record in instructional and programme design methodologies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.
Confident public speaker with strong stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
