An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning & Development Senior Manager to join a leading professional services firm on a 12-month contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of three and manage a portfolio of structured development programmes designed to empower professionals at all levels. You’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s learning strategy, fostering engagement, and driving innovation in leadership and talent development. This is a hands-on position suited to an L&D leader who combines strategic vision with strong operational delivery, instructional design expertise, and a genuine passion for professional growth.

    • Lead and inspire a team of three L&D professionals, ensuring seamless execution of multiple firm-wide development pathways.

    • Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of development programmes for both legal and business services teams.

    • Partner with senior stakeholders and external providers to ensure quality, value, and measurable impact of all learning initiatives.

    • Design and facilitate engaging learning events and campaigns that enhance culture, connection, and collaboration.

    • Drive mentoring and leadership development initiatives across the firm.

    • Collaborate on strategic L&D projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and budgets.

    • Analyse programme data and feedback to recommend continuous improvement and innovative learning solutions.

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within Learning & Development, ideally in professional services.

    • Proven track record in instructional and programme design methodologies.

    • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building abilities.

    • Confident public speaker with strong stakeholder management skills.

    • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Passionate about learning, collaboration, and delivering meaningful employee experiences.
