Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a Business Development Executive (BDE) to support its International and Technology sectors. Based in Dublin and working closely with the BD Manager and lawyers across Ireland and the UK, the BDE will play a key role in executing sector-specific strategies, supporting client development, and delivering impactful business development and marketing initiatives.

    • Support the execution of business development strategies and sector plans aligned with international and technology growth priorities.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to lawyers, helping brief efficiently and delivering insights and recommendations that drive client engagement.

    • Develop and manage capability statements, bids, and pitch documents in collaboration with the BD Manager and Bids Team.

    • Assist in identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities for key clients as part of the firm’s Client Programme.

    • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.

    • Coordinate and support firm-hosted and sponsored events, including logistics, delegate follow-up, and on-the-ground execution.

    • Write and manage content for internal and external communications, including social media, press releases, and internal updates.

    • Ensure the firm’s CRM (InterAction) is accurately maintained and segmented for targeted marketing.

    • Support submissions for directories and awards in line with firm priorities.

    • Collaborate with the wider Clients & Marketing team and operational functions to deliver consistent, on-brand messaging and client experiences.

    • Support budget tracking and invoice processing in Aderant.

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or business development role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.

    • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.

    • Proven ability to generate and act on client and market insights.

    • Comfortable working across teams and geographies with a collaborative mindset.

    • Experience using CRM systems such as InterAction and working knowledge of legal directories preferred.

    • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and a desire to contribute to a high-performance BD team.
